Entrance Examination and Prerequisites

All students applying for Kindergarten through eighth grade are required to take an entrance examination, which requires payment of a testing fee in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100) prior to acceptance. All completed elementary and middle school application forms must be accompanied by a current report card. Immunization records and a copy of the child’s birth certificate must be submitted to the office upon acceptance.

Registration Fee and Tuition Deposit

A signed Registration Agreement and the registration fee plus the tuition deposit are due upon acceptance. The registration fee and the tuition deposit are both non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration fee covers all processing, academic field trips, lab fees, art fees, clubs, sports and annual achievement testing. The tuition deposit will be applied to the tuition.

Tuition Payment Options

Tuition Agreements are issued annually for all students and must be signed and returned to LVDS on or before June 15 along with that monthly tuition payment. Once the Tuition Agreement is signed and returned to LVDS, parent(s) are obligated to make all tuition payments as set forth in the Tuition Agreement and this obligation shall continue regardless of whether a student fails to attend LVDS or is withdrawn from LVDS. After June 15 no portion paid or outstanding will be refunded, transferred, or cancelled for any reason.

Tuition may be paid annually, semi-annually or monthly. Monthly payments however are only allowed through ACH debit directly withdrawn from your checking or savings account. All tuition payments are made through FACTS tuition management services. The annual payment is due June 15, the semi-annual payments are due June 15 and January 15 and monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month beginning on June 15 with the final payment being due on February 15. A late fee of ten percent (10%) is assessed on any account that is not paid by the due date, and an additional late fee of two percent (2%) per month will be assessed on any account that is more than thirty (30) days past due.

Late Enrollment

Children enrolling midyear will have their tuition prorated using a daily rate.

*Las Vegas Day School operates on a tuition only basis. The school does not accept any donations, gifts, grants or federal funding to help offset operational costs.
