Las Vegas Day School preschool is a well-balanced and comprehensive program that provides our children with a solid foundation for future academic success. The program concentrates on the complete social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the three-year-old child.

Our Preschool program is perfect for children ages 3-4 ( Must be 3
years old by August 1st.) who are ready for structured learning
experiences while still thriving in a play-based environment.
Children should be comfortable in a group setting and engaging
with peers.
Development Signs
Look for signs of readiness: ability to follow simple directions,
interest in letters and numbers, cooperation with peers, and comfort
separating from parents. We welcome all children and provide
support for varied developmental stages.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do preschoolers have to be potty trained?
All children must be fully potty trained and able to take care of their own toileting needs. We ask that parents send a set of lookalike uniform clothing in the case of an accident.
Do the children have a nap time?
Preschool students have a one-hour nap time.
Are blankets provided during nap time?
The children bring their own blankets and are also allowed to have a cuddle friend for nap time.
Do students have play time?
Preschool has thematic, center-based programs with a balance of academics and indoor/outdoor free play time.
